You can also use medicinal herbs for facial skin in their natural form, preparing decoctions, infusions and masks from them at home.

Dandelion

In cosmetology, dandelion has long been used for facial skin in anti-aging procedures. The plant also helps with dermatological problems, with its help you can get rid of freckles and whiten your facial skin. Plant rubber substances contain vitamins of groups A, B, C, E, PP, organic acids, resins, sterols and saponins.

The most effective cosmetic procedures for facial rejuvenation are masks made from dandelion and procedures using cosmetic ice.

  1. anti aging mask. To prepare this mask, you need to take 5 ml of dandelion juice, 1 avocado and 5 grams of starch. You need to mash the avocado and then mix all the ingredients together. The resulting mass should be applied to the previously steamed face, leave for 30 minutes and then rinse with cold water. The mask can be applied to the face twice a week. After a few uses, deep and small wrinkles on the skin are visibly smoothed and facial tissue becomes more elastic.
  2. cosmetic ice. To prepare this product you need: 10-15 ml dandelion juice, 50 ml distilled water, 5 ml hazelnut oil. All ingredients need to be mixed together, poured into molds and placed in the freezer. You need to wipe your face with the prepared cubes, it is recommended to do this in the evening, the skin of your face must first be cleaned of makeup. The procedure should be performed in 10-day sessions and the treatment period should not exceed 3 times a year.

Rosemary

Rosemary can easily replace any lifting agent, as it contains the HSP70 protein, which can slow down the aging process at the cellular level. Additionally, the plant contains tannins, fatty acids, vitamins and microelements that can heal and rejuvenate the skin.

Rosemary is most often used in essential oil form, which can be purchased from beauty stores and pharmacies. To prepare cosmetics at home, you will have to grow the plant yourself, because in its natural form it is very rarely found on the shelves of shops and pharmacies.

  1. rejuvenating mask. To prepare the mask, you need to mash half a banana, then add 50 ml of avocado oil and rosemary infusion or decoction. The amount of decoction or infusion should be calculated taking into account that the finished mask should have a consistency similar to thick sour cream. The product can be applied to the face 2-3 times a week, after which the skin becomes more elastic and wrinkles are smoothed.
  2. Decoction. To prepare the broth, you need to take 20 grams of dry rosemary leaves, pour 200 ml of boiling water and put it in a water bath for 15-20 minutes. The finished decoction must be filtered before use. Take 50 ml 2 times a day.
  3. infusion. The product is prepared from 50 grams of plant leaves, which must be filled with a glass of boiling water and infused for 3-4 hours, it is advisable to do this in a thermos or wrap the container with the infusion in something warm. After the prescribed time, the infusion must be filtered.

Daisy

Chamomile contains many vitamins, microelements and organic acids valuable for the body. All these together help rejuvenate, moisturize and whiten the skin, making it firmer and more elastic. The most effective results in cosmetology can be achieved using chamomile decoctions and infusions.

  1. Decoction. To prepare the product, you need to pour dried chamomile flowers - 25 grams with a glass of warm boiled water and put in a water bath for half an hour. The finished broth must be filtered and, if necessary, diluted with boiled water. The product should be applied to the face and décolleté area. After use, wrinkles on the face are visibly reduced and smoothed.
  2. infusion. To prepare chamomile infusion, you need to pour a tablespoon of dried and crushed herb into a glass of boiling water and leave for half an hour. The finished product needs to be filtered and wiped over the skin of the face, as in the previous recipe.

Sage

Using sage for cosmetic purposes will help cleanse your facial skin and preserve its youth for a long time. The plant contains anti-aging, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic substances, which is why sage is so widely used in cosmetology.

  1. infusion for face. The finished sage infusion can be used as an additive to lotion or tonic, and can also be used in the form of compresses and face lotions. To prepare sage infusion, you need to pour 3 tablespoons of dry raw materials with a glass of boiling water and leave it in a thermos for 2 hours. The resulting infusion should be cooled, filtered, placed in the refrigerator and used as needed. You can prepare cosmetic cubes from this infusion - pour it into molds and put it in the freezer and wipe your face in the morning and evening.
  2. Decoction. Sage decoction effectively affects the skin of the face, rejuvenating and toning it. To prepare, pour boiling water over three tablespoons of sage and cook over low heat for another 15 minutes. The resulting product must be cooled, filtered and washed once a day.

There are many medicinal plants in nature that can be used effectively for cosmetic purposes. The important thing is to do this correctly so that the plant used does not cause harm, but on the contrary, you can get maximum benefit from its use.
